These badass Louboutins are a must-have shoe this season. Celebrities like Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lopez have been wearing this style and helped propel this shoe to super stardom. Of course, Bebe did not want to miss out on this shoe obsession, so they created the “Delaney” sandal, a watered-down version of the buckled Louboutin.

Last weekend, I worked at a very interesting Teen Vogue event called Rock Meets Runway. This is apparently an annual event where 3 bands are chosen from the legions that apply to come to New York and compete for a record contract courtesy of Teen Vogue. There was also a fashion show and the whole thing was hosted by well-known model Chanel Iman.

Here are some things I learned at this event:

1. Teenagers have, like totally different concerns than I do. At this event, I received a goodie bag containing a magazine that featured articles like “How to Deal With Interfering Parents” and “Should You Get Paid For Good Grades.” Apparently, teens have a lot on their plates!

2. I am SO one of those people who will say “Kids Today” and am rapidly approaching “Get Off My Lawn” territory. Though I don’t have a lawn. Because I live in New York, people!

3. Chanel Iman and I have a mutual friend!

Do you SEE those boots? Do you? Those are Christian Louboutin Ariella Clou Silver Studded Boots. (They are no longer available, but retailed for $2350.00. Yes, in dollars) They are so drool-worthy. I am quite sure my eyes were falling out of my head. The man in the picture above, is Chanel’s media coach and an old friend of mine. He introduced me to Chanel and I had trouble tearing my eyes away from her feet so I could politely smile at her face.

Everything about the so called “peep-toes”. Today. Once upon a time the peep-toe was a weapon. Hollywood divas back in the 30s like Rita Hayworth and Greta Garbo cut out their normal pumps. They created a sexy foot décolleté to presented their toes. Back then this was a huge scandal.

Todays perfectionist of the peep-toe is Christian Louboutin. Forget Manolos. Here are Louboutins. His shoes are art. And there is only one shoe designer whose footwear is instantly recognisable just from the soles. What makes Christian Louboutin’s shoes stand out at first is the glossy nail-varnish red sole that has become his trademark. Right now he is the most famous shoe designer in the world. Everyone wants a pair of his creations. Stars like Nicole Kidman, Gisele Bündchen, Victoria Beckham or Nicole Ritchie are already wearing shoes of the 43-years-old designer from Paris.
“I want to make shoes that are like jewels,” Louboutin explains. “Shoes are more than just an accessory; they are an extension of a woman.”
All his shoes have the same specific items: they are incredibly sexy and luxurious; fine craftsmanship, quirky designs, with killer high heels.

Ashley Tisdale works out a studded peep-toe Christian Louboutin on the grass carpet at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday afternoon (August 9) in Universal City, Calif.

The 24-year-old singer/actress is nominated for a few awards, including Choice Summer Movie Star: Female. The Tizz wore a bustier and skirt by Used/Unused and studded Christian Louboutins.

I’ve been getting some emails about the Christian Louboutin OTK Platform Boot (over the knee) boots I posted a few days ago and people are wondering how to rock them without looking like a hooker or a pirate. I too had my doubts when I first saw them, but paired with the right outfit you can come off looking oh-so chic!

Here’s a few suggestions to help ease you into them:

1. Since the boots aren’t black (and those are the ones you have to worry about looking hooker-y), I’m all for pairing them with a cute mini-skirt. You should also go for a something long sleeved on top to balance out the shortness of the skirt…especially if you opt out of the tights.

2. This is my favorite look! I really like skinny jeans (try grey ones) tucked into the boots…and this is really what these boots were designed for! It’s very Carine Roitfeld and paired with the chunky cardigan sweater it looks like you didn’t even try.

3. If you’re looking for a flat boot that doesn’t read pirate, make sure it’s in suede and NOT leather. The leather ones are too shiny and way too swashbuckling for me! When you wear them with a short flirty dress the look is feminine and really fun. Textured tights are optional with this one since you’re forgoing the heel.

To me, this is something I would probably never spend a lot of money on. It’s a look I might think is fun once for like a night out in Vegas or something. But, in case a hot pair of leopard platforms are on your list for Fall, here are some great options.

Paris Hilton arrived at the Nissan Live Sets on Yahoo! Music Anniversary Celebration at FOX Studios Lot today in Century City wearing these fabulous Christian Louboutin boots.

Paris looked great from head to toe. Her makeup looks fresh and her bucket hat is adorable.

She has a hip, chic casual appearance that she wears very well. The untucked shirt and cropped leather jacket give her a very modern look.

Though Paris’ black leather boots are certainly incredible, my favorite boot from Christian Louboutin is the brown suede version pictured below.

The Melissandre Suede Zip Boots feature a rich brown suede accented with white topstitching. The unique style has athe zipper up the front and an buckled cuff.

This year the Grammy’s were pretty subdued when it came to shoes, as most celebs opted for the sleek silhouette of the Christian Louboutin platform pump. I love the shoes, but I expected a bit more from the ladies. And though, I was slightly disappointed overall, I felt the Louboutin choice was perfect for some.

Jennifer Hudson, for instance, paired her construction embellished RM by Roland Mouret Trent dress with blue Christian Louboutin Declic pumps, which retail for $685.00. I thought the dress was the perfect pairing for the shoes. Not busy enough to distract you from the dress, but the perfect amount of color.

Angela Simmons paired her red Christian Louboutin Hidden Platform pumps with a white, layered hip mini dress. The shoe choice was perfect for this look, as the pumps gave the perfect pop of color.

LeToya Luckett’s pink mini with attached statement necklace was the perfect color combination for her aqua Christian Louboutin Rolando pumps, which retail for $1,195.00. It’s so unexpected, but still a breath a fresh air.
